Nagaland State Government is planning to set up a cement plant in Mimi, Pungro sub-division in Kiphire district of Nagaland. Further it also plans to revive the Wazeho 150 tpd mini cement plant in Phek district of Nagaland. The Mimi area has reported limestone reserves of 10000 million tonnes. The project is likely to be set up through Nagaland State Mineral Development Corporation. The plan is to revive the cement plant and later on privatise it through MoU route.
